Powermatic Lathe, 24", #4224

The 24" Woodworking Lathe is supported by cast iron heavy-duty legs with adjustable feet. The bed has precision ground ways. A 3-step, Poly-V belt drive produces a wide speed range up to 3500 RPM. This lathe has a 24-position indexer. The stationary headstock and sliding tailstock are cast iron, and the tailstock has a positive cam action locking device. The control panel has a digital readout showing RPMs. A magnetic-based remote on/off switch can be moved anywhere on the machine. The tool rest has been designed with a finger guide for better tool control. Reversing switch comes standard.
